  • Deep Tissue – Releases chronic patterns of tension through the application of deep pressure on contracted areas of tissue, applied either across or following the 'grain' of muscles, tendons and fascia. Focuses on deeper layers of muscles.

  • Therapeutic Massage – A series of Specific techniques and applications that focus on various specific problem areas that incorporate moderate/firm to deeper pressures, stretching, along with directional friction and muscle-fiber 'tracing' that are combined into what is best described as a 'Swedish Massage styled approach' using the of long flowing strokes, gentle kneading and relaxing friction techniques that focus on the more superficial layers of muscles, combined with both active and passive movements of joints. Please indicate your specific areas of concern that you wish to have addressed.

  • Myofascial Release – Long, stretching strokes applied gently, in sustained holds that rebalances the body by releasing tension found in muscle, connective tissue and 'fascia' – a connective tissue network that extends throughout the body.

More... General Approaches and Basic Techniques 'Menu': continued...

  • Chair Massage – Especially useful for 'on-site': office or corporate settings, as well as health fairs / employee health awareness days, wedding parties, Birthdays, and other occasions that call for an energizing, yet relaxing, and rejuvenating treat. A great “starter massage” for anyone that has never had a massage, anyone that is unfamiliar with the experience of therapeutic massage, or anyone that has an aversion to touch or self-conscious about having someone else seeing their individual body parts ( arms, legs, back ) un-draped while they are massaged. Also great for anyone that might have difficulty lying on their back, side or front, as with a traditional table massage. Given while the client is clothed and seated in a specially designed chair. The chair is sloped/angled forward, which allows for greater access to the larger muscles of the back. Intended to relax and improve circulation.

  • Bowen Therapy – An Australian Therapy using light, gentle coordinated holds and strokes that primarily affect both the Neuro-Respiratory rhythms & reflexes along with the Proprioceptors throughout the body to reduce muscular & systemic tensions, & restore balance / synchronization.

  • Sports Massage – Focuses on the muscular systems, connective tissue, and joints most relevant to a particular sport, a few similarities to deep tissue, however with an emphasis on range of motion and function geared toward reducing areas of restriction (thus reducing chances of additional strain or injury) and general preparedness for upcoming sporting events.

  • Russian ~ Sports Massage – A series of treatments that focuses on the muscular systems, connective tissue, and joints most relevant to a particular sport, however, with this technique, the emphasis is mostly on the: circulatory and nervous system interactions, and it's impact on: Pre-event / training prep -> improving Performance / Endurance; Post-event -> Recovery & accelerated injury resolution.

  • Russian ~ Medical Massage Therapy – A series of sessions, which primarily focuses on the: circulatory and nervous system interactions that contribute to as well as those that improve symptoms, associated with a number of major chronic illnesses and many minor acute health issues with an emphasis on the restoration of proper body function or physiology. Some of the 'protocol' treatments available include:
    •  Fibromyalgia / FibroNeuroMyoalgia,
    • Migraines & Stress Headaches,
    • Sciatica & Low Back Pain,
    • Muscular Whiplash &
    • Chronic Neck Pains,
    • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) &
